- Anita Kondoyanidi is a professor, journalist, and international project manager. She specializes on the history of cultural diplomacy, Russian-Western foreign and cultural relations. She holds a Ph.D. in Literary Studies and a Ph.D. in European and Russian history from Georgetown University. Ms. Kondoyanidi was born in Russia, educated in the US and Russia, worked on developing and establishing international educational projects that promoted Russia's cultural heritage in the West. In 2016, she co-founded and edited the English version of MusicuM magazine. She has published articles in MusicuM, The Russian Review, and Revista de Instituciones, Ideas y Mercados (RIIM). In 2009 her article about how the Soviet soldiers liberated concentration camps was recognized as one of the best by the Association of Slavic and East European Studies Association.
