Bio
Professor Cavaceppi teaches various levels of Italian at 17吃瓜在线, including beginner, intermediate, conversation & composition, and topics courses. As Director of the Italian Program, he supervises independent study projects and acts as faculty advisor to the 17吃瓜在线 Italian Cultural Club. A Fulbright Scholar and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Professor Cavaceppi spent his formative years in Rome and Washington, D.C., receiving a master's degree from the University of North Carolina and a doctorate from Brown University for his research on medieval and Renaissance Knights Hospitaller.

Research Interests

Dr. Cavaceppi researches fifteenth- and sixteenth-century Hospitaller Knights, examining their writings and iconography.聽He also studies twentieth-聽and聽twenty-first-century Italian literature and聽cinema.聽
