Donor Spotlight – Corrine Parver

We extend our sincere appreciation to Corrine Parver ('82) for establishing the Corrine Parver Health Law Award Endowed Fund. This award will be presented annually at 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏßWCL’s May commencement ceremony to recognize an outstanding student in Health Law who exemplifies academic merit and excellence.

After the passing of her husband in May 2023, Corrine reflected on the impact she and her husband have had on the world, the life they’ve had together, and how that can be recognized. She also knew that many of 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏßWCL alumni have gone on to pursue successful careers in health law, and have made significant contributions to fields such as government, pharmaceuticals, healthcare associations, and beyond. Corrine also hopes that establishing this fund will inspire other 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏßWCL alumni to give back.

She noted that her accomplishments and the positive trajectory of her career are intricately linked to her education at the 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß Washington College of Law. She views the establishment of the Corrine Parver Health Law Award as a meaningful way to both honor students focused on careers in health law and contribute to the foundation that molded her into an accomplished lawyer. Corrine eloquently states, "Thanks is necessary, giving back is necessary. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the Washington College of Law."

Join Corrine and support students interested in health law by giving to the Health Law & Policy Program at 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏßWCL
