How It Started

Our Story

In 2017, juniors Aadil Rehan and Melody Li and sophomore Catherine Zhang founded UNITE. Ever since, UNITE has been an annual event serving students, parents, and community members. We seek to spread the spirit of innovation and discovery through the unification of the many different individuals attending, and are proud to feature an opportunity for students and speakers alike to inspire and be inspired.

In 2025 — after a 3-year hiatus — seniors Aadi Jariwala, Kaelyn Liu, and Lucas Han assembled a team to bring UNITE back to CCA. This time with the theme of "Flourish": challenging what it means to thrive by looking beyond traditional success. The team redesigned CCA UNITE as a TEDx-style conference featuring student, alumni, and industry speakers, coupled with a robust club-day event, student performances, and non-traditional career interest exploration.
