University Police and Security

University police are commissioned law enforcement officers of the District of Columbia. On duty 24 hours a day, they have full investigative and arrest authority on campus. Officers respond to all reported emergencies - crime, fire, medical, or other - and coordinate with D.C. fire and police departments. They regularly patrol campus grounds and buildings听and maintain close contact with UCGS student and professional staff to ensure privacy and security.
