The Immersion Experience offers:

  • In-person interactions with peers, faculty, and alumni
  • Networking with policy practitioners
  • Site visits to key organizations in government, foreign relations, and national security, among others
  • Skill-building and leadership tools through workshops and seminars

Master of International Service (MIS)

Students in the MIS program will enjoy DCÌýin the Fall! This integral part of your studies combines the (core, 3-credit requirement) with an exciting in-person weekend. Immerse yourself in guest lectures, simulations, and real-world scenarios that bring course concepts to life. We strongly recommend prioritizing this course in your fall semester schedule – it's an experience you won't want to miss!

Master of Arts in International Relations (MAIR)

For MAIR students programming features several days of engaging activities in Washington, DC, providing you with hands-on learning opportunities and valuable networking connections. While not mandatory, we strongly encourage all students to participate and take advantage of the in-person opportunities which have been specifically crafted for them. As a bonus, you can extend your stay for an optional 1-credit Skills Institute immediately following the main program, further enhancing your professional skills.
