Defending the 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß Dream InitiativeÌý(17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß Dream) is a part of the Immigrant Justice Clinic at the 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß (17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß) Washington College of Law (WCL).

17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß Dream’s mission is to provide free immigration legal services to undocumented and other immigrant undergraduate and graduate students who are currently enrolled in colleges or universities in the DC metropolitan area. 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß Dream may also provide free immigration legal services to family members of currently enrolled students.

Thanks to a generous gift from 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß and WCL alum William I. Jacobs, 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß Dream is now a reality. 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß Dream firmly believes that all students can thrive in college when they feel safe and can access opportunities and resources. Our legal services address one barrier to higher education – insecure immigration status – and, with the help of our partners and allies, we address students’ other needs through referrals.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß Dream continues to provide legal services remotely. Please contact us at audream@wcl.american.edu.
